Exporting a Case

Downloading and exporting case information for documentation and recordkeeping purposes

About Exporting

The Export feature allows users to download case information from the system for documentation, sharing, or recordkeeping purposes. When exported the selected case information is compiled into a zip file and downloaded through your browser.

How to Export a Case

The Export page allows you to choose exactly what information you want included in the download. Only the sections you select using the checkboxes will be included — the system does not automatically export everything.

  1. Open the case you want to export
  2. Navigate to the Export tab in the Case Menu
  3. Review the list of available case sections
  4. Select the checkboxes next to each piece of information you want included
  5. Scroll to the bottom of the page
  6. Click the blue Export button

What Happens After Clicking Export

  • The system compiles the selected case information
  • Your browser generates a zip file
  • The file downloads automatically to your computer's default Downloads folder
  • The zip file contains the selected case documents and data
Tip: Check your browser's download bar or Downloads folder if you do not immediately see the file.

Important Considerations

  • Only checked items will be included in the export
  • If nothing is selected the export will not contain case data
  • Depending on the size of the case the export may take a few moments to generate
